Application and admission access
1. Applicants should submit their application and check the admission status in the CQMU international student information management system. (https://lxs.cqmu.edu.cn/)
2. Applicants for a Chinese Government Scholarship should also apply on the website of the China Scholarship Council（https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login）
3. The introduction of specialties and supervisors and the enrollment standards for international students will be released on the official English website of CQMU, which will also post general material for enrollment of students studying in China. （https://english.cqmu.edu.cn/）
4. Admitted students are required to submit paper documents at on-site registration
5. The application deadline is August 30, 2021.

Enrollment requirements
Basic Requirement for Bachelor’s Degree Program
1. In principle, applicants to the Bachelor’s Degree Program should be aged between 18 and 25. Applicants must be healthy both mentally and physically. Applicant should be able to cover their expenses while studying and living in China.
2. Applicants should have graduated from high school with grades above good in all subjects. Appicants must have taken science subjects such as chemistry, physics, biology and art subjects such as English during their high school study. Specific requirements are as follows:

Requirements for Scholarship Programs
1. Chinese Government Scholarship for Bachelor student
1) Applicants should pass the final examination of the preparatory school arranged by the Chinese Scholarship Council.
2) Applicants should meet the requirements for bachelor’s program mentioned above.
3) Applicants should have good overall performance with excellent academic scores and achievements.
4) Scholarship standards (yuan/year):

1) Applicants should meet the requirements for bachelor’s program mentioned above.
2) This scholarship is granted to support students who are financially stressed but have excellent academic and moral performance.
3) Applicants should have good overall performance with excellent academic scores and achievements.
4) Scholarship standards (yuan/year):

1) Applicants should meet the requirements for bachelor’s program mentioned above.
2) This scholarship is granted to support students who are financially stressed but have excellent academic and moral performance.
3) Applicants should have good overall performance with excellent academic scores and achievements.
4) Applicants should be excellent but fail to obtain the two scholarships introduced above.
5) Scholarship standards (this scholarship will be granted once at the first semester; unit: yuan)

Completed Application Form for Foreigners to Study in Chongqing Medical University (original copy or photocopy/scanned copy)

Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy/scanned copy) (Applicant can keep the original copy. The form of the Chinese authority could be downloaded for printing from http://english.cqmu.edu.cn). The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of an attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Note: Records of physical examination are only valid for 6 months.

Non-Criminal Record.

Financial proof (Applicant’s savings in the bank should be more than all fees needed in the first semester).

Notarized high school graduation/studying certificate (photocopy/scanned copy), academic transcripts of high school (photocopy/scanned copy), supporting documents of school performance (original copy or photocopy/scanned copy)

For those who want to apply for the MBBS program: TOEFL or IETLS certificate, or supporting documents of having taken all the courses in English in high school

For those who want to apply for Chinese medium program: HSK 5 or above and their grade transcript

Additional documents: publications including books and papers, awarded certificates and other related materials (photocopy / scanned copy).
