The 4th Digital China Summit kicked off in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, on April 25.

During a signing ceremony held during the summit, Xiamen signed 11 projects with an investment of 45.6 billion yuan ($ 7.03 billion).

These projects, signed between Xiamen and enterprises directly under the central government, are in multiple areas including aviation, new materials, new infrastructure, headquarters economy, new retails, service trade, and medicine circulation.

The Xiamen government has attached great importance to the cooperation with State-owned enterprises in recent years, and they have been playing an important role in promoting Xiamen's social and economic development.

Since last year, Xiamen has beefed up efforts to deepen cooperation with State-owned enterprises at a higher and wider level in various fields, such as electronic information, biological medicine, machinery equipment, modern logistics, and ecological environmental protection.

Official data showed that during 2019 to 2020, the city had signed more than 80 projects with State-owned enterprises, attracting a total investment of about 346 billion yuan, all of which have injected strong momentum into the city's high-quality development.
