International students in Zhenjiang observe World Theater Day

A group of overseas students from Zimbabwe, Cote d'Ivoire, Kenya, and Cameroon, who are now studying at Jiangsu University in Zhenjiang, experienced traditional Chinese opera culture with local amateur performers on March 25 to celebrate the 2021 World Theater Day, which fell two days later. World Theatre Day is an international observance celebrated on March 27. It was initiated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute.
