Central China Normal University (CCNU) was founded in 1903 and is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, a thoroughfare of nine provinces. It is situated on Guizi Hill on the shore of Nanhu Lake in Wuchang. As one of the universities on the list of 211 National Education Priority Project, Central China Normal University is highly recognized as an important base for cultivating brilliant talents for the country and a superior training center for excellent teachers in higher learning institutions and high schools.

The university has 31 teaching and research units, with a total of 75 undergraduate, 92 master's, and 67 doctoral programs. It has a higher education system from undergraduates to master's, doctoral to post-doctoral students, from full-time to adult education. There are currently more than 31,000 full-time students, including over 18,000 undergraduates, 11,000 graduate students, and more than 2,000 international students. The university has formed a complete higher education system that provides full-time education and adult education.

Step 4: Start application
   1. Choose a program
   2. Select the student type
   3. Select the Department, Major, and Language of Instruction
   4. Fill in and upload the required information, and submit your application

1.Chinese Government Scholarship — Type A

Programs: Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral Programs

Scholarship: tuition, living allowance, accommodation, and health insurance.
Living allowance: 2500 RMB/month for Bachelor students, 3000 RMB/month for Master’s students and 3500 RMB for Doctoral students.

Qualification:

Undergraduate programs: Senior High School Diploma, GPA: 3.5 or above
Master programs: Bachelor Degree or above, GPA: 3.5 or above
octoral programs: Master’s Degree or above, GPA: 3.5 or above

2.CCNU Scholarship for Excellent New Students

Programs: Undergraduate, Master and Doctoral Programs

Scholarship: tuition fee only
Full tuition fee waiver; Half tuition fee waiver; Partial tuition fee waiver (waive 2000RMB -8000RMB)

Qualification:
1.New overseas students (bachelor students, master’s students and doctorate students who intend to start their first year of degree study at CCNU from September,2021);
2.The applicants should not have applied for another scholarship of any kind at this university;
3.Degree/Diploma and age requirement:
- Bachelor applicants should have obtained a High school degree/diploma and be below 25 years of age;
- Masters applicants should have obtained a Bachelor degree/diploma and be below 35 years of age;
- PhD applicants should have obtained a Master’s degree/diploma and be below 45 years of age.
