'Science and Technology Towards the North' event coming up at Zhongguancun Software Park

The "Science and Technology Towards the North" event will be held in Zhongguancun Software Park from Sept 9 to Sept 30 with the aim of creating testing and experience sites for new technologies, focusing on cutting-edge technology and integrating music, sports, e-sports, foods and other elements. It is hoped that the event will boost Beijing's technological innovation.

It is to include a series of hardcore technology activities such as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Show, the Zhongguancun 5G Smart Park Scenario Competition, the Zhongguancun 5G Industrial Internet Competition, an Industrial Internet Summit, Smart Space, and Enterprise Cloud. In addition, a music tech festival, e-sports competition, rowing challenge, Mobius Running, fun rainbow run, food festival, and the Asian Digital Art Exhibition will be held.

Smart SPACE

The Zhongguancun Software Park has fully deployed 5G networks and created experience scenarios for unmanned driving and intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperative systems. In addition, the 4D+VR simulated driving experience area and ecological display area will be opened for the first time. The ecological display area will integrate greenness, simplicity, ecological technology, and communication, and its internet-famous sites can help visitors improve their emotions and relieve stress!

Music tech festival

A robotic arm performance by an NK01 robot and AI musical instruments will be staged in the music tech festival from Sept 9 to 11.

Zpark sports season

A number of innovative sport events including a rowing challenge, Mobius RUN and fun rainbow run will be held in September and October.

E-sports competition

The competition will integrate cutting-edge technologies such as VR and 5G. An AR e-sport event, iron-clad fighting e-sport event, F1 racing simulator e-sport event, and model aircraft e-sport event will also be held.

"The night of blooming flowers" and the food festival

From Sept 14 to Sept 16 a light and shadow art show and a wine and food festival will be on offer.

More than 20 years ago, a billboard was erected on Baiyi Road in Zhongguancun, saying "How far shall we go towards the information highway? 1,500 meters towards the north". More than 20 years later, to commemorate this, the "Science and Technology Towards the North" event will be held in Zhongguancun Software Park.

A pioneer of domestic science and technology industry parks, Zhongguan has undergone 20 years of development. Now it will hold the "Science and Technology Towards the North" event to promote technology, industry, music, sports and art innovation.
