Viewers are welcome to watch the two classic dance dramas - Flower Rains Along the Silk Road and Dunhuang, My Dream Land - which were performed at the Lanzhou Concert Hall and live-streamed across the globe on Aug 8!

Flower Rains Along The Silk Road made its debut in 1979. This epic dance drama was created based on stories of the Silk Road and the Dunhuang murals, and is set during the thriving Tang Dynasty (618-907). It eulogizes the artistic characters of a painting virtuoso (Zhang) and a courtesan (Yingniang), narrating their ups and downs and their friendship with a Persian merchant.

Dunhuang, My Dream Land is a legendary four-act dance drama. It personifies two tourist attractions - the Dunhuang Mogao cave murals and the Crescent Moon Lake (Yueyaquan) - to tell a love story between a young painter (Mogao) and a general’s daughter (Yueya).
