Jinchengjiang sees industrial output value growth in H1

Jinchengjiang district in Hechi has made great efforts on promoting the resumption of work and production of industrial enterprises while implementing strict COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control measures. From January to June, the total output value of industrial enterprises above designated size in the district increased by 12.8 percent, while the value added increased by 14.4 percent.

An industrial enterprise above designated size refers to one with an annual sales revenue surpassing 20 million yuan ($2.87 million).

The district helped companies solve difficulties and problems caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, such as rent costs, logistics, and employees returning to work, as well as promoted major projects under construction at the autonomous region and municipal levels. A total of 30 industrial enterprises above designated size, 148 above-quota wholesale and retail enterprises, as well as 20 foreign-funded and foreign trade enterprises resumed work and production before the end of February.

In the first half of the year, the district further simplified government services, such as implementing a one-stop approach to business establishment, promoting the simplified approval model of unmanned supermarkets, and publishing catalogs of 100 issues that can be handled through "single window" service.

The district also strengthened project matchmaking services, accelerated the implementation of projects, as well as increased project promotion and industry promotion activities. At present, Jinchengjiang district has 31 projects under discussion, with a total investment of 8.52 billion yuan. Twelve projects have been signed, with a total investment of 3.41 billion yuan, and eight projects have started construction, with a total investment of 2.31 billion yuan.

The district has also paid attention to cultivating new industrial growth points. It has inspected newly established and growth-oriented enterprises, encouraging and guiding them to declare as enterprises above designated size.
