Quzhou launches new maternity and child healthcare hospital

The unveiling ceremony of the new Quzhou Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital in Kecheng district, Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province, was held on July 7.

The hospital has five wards, 300 beds, more than 400 staff members and 338 health technicians, including 64 with senior professional titles.

Phase I of the new hospital was built to hold 300 beds, with a construction area of 62,585 square meters, and includes outpatient and inpatient buildings, an administrative building and 615 parking spaces.

Quzhou Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital, founded in 1952, is a class II grade A maternal and child healthcare hospital that boasts outstanding academic advantages and distinctive professional features, and has departments in gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, obstetrics, high-risk obstetrics, pediatrics, neonatology, and child growth and development.
