Yangjiaoshui Fort cultural tourism project

Construction site: Hanxian Rock National Scenic Area in Huichang

Total investment: about 500 million yuan ($70.72 million)

Yangjiaoshui Fort is located in Yangjiao village, Yunmenling town, and has been an important strategic site since ancient times. In 2013, Yangjiaoshui Fort was approved by the State Council as a national key heritage site under state protection. Yangjiaoshui Fort was listed as a provincial historical and cultural village and a traditional Chinese village in 2014.

Construction items and scale:

Yangjiaoshui Fort cultural tourism development project covers an area of 80 hectares. Based on ancient military and ferry facilities, the projects include a 'military experience' of the Ming and Qing dynasties, a drill ground, outdoor activity bases, film and television shooting bases, Hakka folk customs, and ancient castle study camps.

Construction background:

The project has convenient traffic conditions and complete supporting facilities. It is about two kilometers away from the main scenic area of Hanxian Rock. Currently, renovation work has been completed on 900 meters of ancient city walls, three gates, one ancient dock, more than 50 ancient residential houses, and 1,200 meters of ancient streets.
