Investment projects inked at Ordos airport logistics park

A total of 10 commercial projects were signed into agreement on June 5 at an online investment promotions meeting held in Ordos Airport Logistics Park -- in Ordos city, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region -- according to local officials.

The projects included a bonded processing trade industrial park project, an international trade project for the assembly of mining equipment and a pet food processing plant.

Other projects included a new gas station, a services center for industrial and mining enterprises and logistics settlement centers.

Officials said the total investment in the 10 projects amounted to 1.94 billion yuan ($273.8 million). 

At a signing ceremony held on June 6, the director of the Ordos Airport Logistics Park gave a briefing on the current investment environment in the logistics park.

He said that the management committee would improve the quality of services.

Officials said that the signing of the projects was of great significance for improving the level of industrial development in Ordos and its airport parks -- and for accelerating the construction of modern service industry clusters.
