With a total journey of about 9,400 kilometers, the freight train will leave China via Khorgos Port in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, and arrive at its destination in 10 to 12 days.

It is currently the fastest China-Germany international cargo railway transportation channel in the world.

In addition to Neuss, the freight train will continue to develop services for more European cities, contributing to the construction of Xi'an as an assembly center for China-Europe freight trains.

At present, the goods from 29 provinces and cities across the country are distributed at Xi'an Port, and more than 70 percent of the export goods sent to Europe and Central Asia are also sent through the port.

In the first quarter of 2020, the China-Europe Chang'an freight train made a total of 656 trips, which is 2.3 times the same period last year.
