Xi'an to build intelligent transportation system

Xi'an municipal transportation bureau signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Tencent Map in June, with the aim of building Xi'an into a benchmark city for intelligent transportation.

The two sides will cooperate on integrating and sharing transport-related big data to promote the construction of Xi'an's intelligent transportation system and improve the travel experience of Xi'an's citizens.

With this "internet + transportation" smart service and big data analysis capabilities, Tencent Map can effectively integrate social resources and will gradually establish an industry-leading intelligent transportation management service platform.

The city's transportation system will use Tencent Map's rich big data capabilities to analyze data in important traffic scenarios such as traffic flow and commuting, as well as real-time traffic conditions in key areas.

Tencent Map will provide a basis for Xi'an's urban transportation planning and public transport optimization, offer better quality travel services to citizens, and help Xi'an create a comprehensive, intelligent, green and safe transportation environment.
