A total of 37 companies in Zhoushan are seeking business opportunities at the seafood session of the Zhejiang Export Commodity Online Fair, which opened on May 25.
The session provided a platform for aquaculture companies from Zhejiang to get in touch with their counterparts in the Americas.
The Zhoushan companies accounted for 60 percent of the total in the province.
Due to COVID-2019, the city exported 47,216.8 tons of aquaculture products, worth a combined value of 1.327 billion yuan ($192.3 million), in the first quarter, down by 39.8 percent and 31.2 percent respectively.
