Baotou develops government services platform

Baotou in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region is to develop an integrated online government services platform -- with public bidding and procurements for the project completed recently -- according to a report in the Baotou Daily.

Officials said the project will serve as a basic business system supporting internet plus-driven government services. It will develop a centralized and standardized data exchange channel to fully support data exchanges, resource sharing -- and facilitate business collaboration between departments, regions and systems.

After its completion, the project is expected to be the hub of the city’s non-confidential government information resources sharing and exchanges.

Officials said the platform will effectively connect with autonomous region level data sharing and exchange platforms.

It will also integrate with the business systems of various departments at the municipal level and can keep abreast of the data sharing and exchange platforms of the various districts, banners and counties.
