Brave medical team fights virus on frontlines in Yantai

Five medical workers from Penglai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital rushed to the quarantine area at Nanwang Street in Penglai, Yantai, to help in frontline epidemic prevention and control efforts on Feb 4.

Wang Zaiguo, director of the department of intensive care medicine, is in charge of the medical team.

"We will honor our mission and make efforts to help fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia. It's our duty and responsibility," Wang said.

Qi Jing, a nurse in her 20s, said, "When my mother knew I wanted to go to the frontline she was worried, but still supported me. It motivated me."
