Rehabilitation center featuring acupuncture, manipulation opens in Shinan

The south branch of Qingdao Hiser Medical Group opened in Shinan district, Qingdao on April 8. The branch has nearly 200 beds in its 7,000-square-meter area and is expected to become the largest high-level rehabilitation center in the city.

The rehabilitation center, integrating traditional Chinese medicine and modern medical technology, focuses on acupuncture and manipulation, and also deals with chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.

It is located near Huiquan Bay, Xiaoyu Mountain and Badaguan scenic spot, the ideal place for those looking for physical and mental nourishment.

The advanced equipment can meet the diverse needs of patients, offering body functional rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, speech training and rehabilitation assessment.

The center costed more than 30 million yuan ($4.26 million) to build.

According to Zhu Weiping, senior executive of the group, the center is expected to help promote the city's development in rehabilitation, relying on its outstanding environment, advanced facilities and talented therapists.
