Huanjiang Maonan autonomous region in Hechi has increased private investment for three consecutive years by conducting promotions in developed areas like the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta, promoting high-quality development of its private sector economy.

The county has introduced reform service measures, proposing 13 measures in four areas to solve the problems of enterprise start-up procedures, real estate registration, and investment project approval.

At the end of 2018, the county established an agency service center to help enterprises handle various related procedures. To date, a total of more than 10 companies have enjoyed free agency services in business licenses and related procedures in the process of project implementation. In addition, the county's development and reform bureau opened a ‘green channel’ to give priority approval to private enterprises.

A set of preferential policies have also been issued to provide a strong guarantee for the landing, production, as well as tax reduction and exemption of private enterprises in Hechi.

At present, the county has 24 private industrial enterprises above designated scale with a total output value of 1.7 billion yuan ($240.56 million) and an industrial added value of 590 million yuan in 2019. All private enterprises in the county have resumed work and production.
