An exhibition of Horinger paper cutting is on display in Hohhot, the capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Jan 16. Horinger paper cutting, with a history of more than 1,000 years, is a national intangible cultural heritage. This type of paper cutting, with a style integrating the history and folk customs of the grasslands, is one of the most representative art forms in North China, and was originally developed by Horinger women living in rural areas. It was selected in the first batch of national traditional craft revitalization directory in 2018. [Photo/Xinhua]
