Top specialist doctor insists on fighting coronavirus epidemic

Zhang Binhua, director of the pneumology department of No 986 Hospital of Air Force Medical University, is also a member of the Shaanxi medical team that was sent out to help Wuhan city in Hubei province fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia.

Pneumology is the study of the respiratory system and organs and Zhang is an expert in it. Normally, he would be expected to stay in his academic world to direct things from the top. But he insisted he wanted to head out into the field to fight the outbreak in person.
