Guiyang's epidemic prevention and control for overseas travelers

To further prevent and control the novel coronavirus, especially imported cases from overseas, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently issued a notice for overseas travelers.

I. Guiyang will provide equal services for either overseas travelers or Chinese citizens arriving from overseas, and respect their religion and customs. Government departments and employers should provide protection and assistance when necessary.

II. All the people entering Guiyang from overseas countries should fill in the health declaration card with information, such as travel routes, and cooperate with epidemic prevention and control measures, such as body temperature measurement and quarantine.

III. People coming from South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan and other countries or areas severely affected by the epidemic in the past 14 days, or people sharing the same plane with passengers with a fever, should be quarantined for 14 days and receive a nucleic acid test and computed tomography examination.

IV. People from countries or areas with that are not severely affected by the epidemic, but have symptoms like fever, cough or fatigue should also be quarantined. People with permanent residence in Guiyang should stay at home and report to the community. People without residence, occupation or a specific destination in Guiyang should be quarantined at designated hotels.

V. People arriving in Guiyang from overseas by train will be transported to designated fever clinics by ambulances if high body temperature is detected. Those with no symptoms will be quarantined at designated hotels or their homes.

VI. People from overseas countries and areas should report to their communities or employers. All the communities, government departments, and companies should take responsibilities to prevent and control the epidemic.

VII. People from overseas countries and areas can enjoy a maximum discount when staying at designated hotels.

VIII. The epidemic prevention and control measures will be adjusted according to the epidemic situation overseas.
