Shinan to establish China's largest online platform on pharmaceutical retail

A regional headquarter of Shanghai Sinopharm Retail Co will open in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province. The agreement was recently signed online through a video conference.

The company, subordinated to Sinopharm Capital, was headquartered in Shanghai in 2017 and focuses on investment and management in pharmaceutical retail industry and relevant industrial chains.

It is the first major project introduced by China Stone Management Consulting Group, one of China's most specialized and largest consulting service providers, in this year after it cooperates with Qingdao municipal bureau of science and technology.

According to the agreement, China's largest online platform on pharmaceutical retail will be launched in Qingdao and the regional headquarter is hoped to take the lead in residents' health management.

The regional headquarter will make digital integration in medicine distribution, establish health management system in communities and share information in upstream and downstream firms, promoting the development in the city's health industry.

A pharmaceutical industrial park will also be set up in the city in a bid to gather innovative enterprises engaging in medicine industry and cultivate more pharmaceutical projects.
