China's civil aviation authorities have injected efforts to push forward resumption of construction of major infrastructure projects.

Efforts are under way to realize an annual fixed asset investment of 100 billion yuan ($14.38 billion) in 2020, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

As of March 3, construction of 48 of the country's 81 airport projects had resumed.

By the end of 2019, China had 238 civil airports.
