Hechi in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region restarted its on-the-spot transactions of public resources from March 2, according to the city's big data development bureau.

The restart of the on-the-spot transactions of public resources is one of the city's efforts to strike a balance between fighting the novel coronavirus epidemic and stabilizing the development of the economy.

Three measures were taken to carry out on-the-spot transactions in public resources in an orderly manner.

Only four to six projects can make an appointment to enter the city's public resources trading platform and then carry out on-site trading activities.

A green channel was opened for projects involving epidemic prevention and control, poverty alleviation, spring plowing, emergency rescue and disaster relief, as well as other key projects, which are given priority to entering the city's public resources trading platform for centralized trading.

In order to avoid personnel gathering and reduce the risk of cross-infection in public, it is required that people on site participating in trading activities should maintain a safe distance from each other, as well as not stay after the business processing and to leave immediately.

"Today's trading is very smooth, and the epidemic protection measures at the city's public resources trading center are also doing very well," said the owner of the Yizhou tea-oil tree seedlings procurement project on the same day that Hechi restarted its on-the-spot transactions of public resources.

By the end of March 2, a total of 85 public resources trading projects made an appointment to enter the city's public resources trading platform, including 60 open tendering ones and 25 private tendering ones.
