Panasonic Energy (Wuxi) Co., LTD.

Panasonic Energy (Wuxi) Co., located in the Wuxi New District (WND), Jiangsu province, is invested by Osaka-headquartered Panasonic Corporation in Japan. The company was set up in WND in July 2001 with a total investment of 18 billion yen (about $145 million).

It is situated on 230,000 square meters of floor area with five factory buildings and employs more than 5,000 employees as at the end of 2014. Panasonic Energy mainly engages in manufacturing nickel-metal hydride and lithium ion batteries used in mobile phones, computers and digital cameras.
