With the only National Sensor Network Innovative Demonstration Zone in China, Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) has the mission to develop the IoT industry. Thegovernment currently makes an overall plan to build the National Sensor Network Innovative Demonstration Zone in Wuxi (Taihu) International Science &Technology Park. Currently, many IoT research and development institutes and enterprises have settled in the district.

In 2013, the output value of IoT industry in Wuxi National Hi-tech District exceeded 70 billion yuan ($11 billion), making up 38.4 percent of the output value of the whole high-tech industry in the district.

The research and development advantages of the IoT technology

The IoT R&D institutes of the main electric network operators and communication network operators in China have settled in Wuxi (Taihu) International Science&Technology Park.

The Park owns Jiangsu IoT R&D Center and Wuxi IoT Research Institute.

National IoT industry union and standardized organizations carry out activities in the park.

Relevant industries provide support for the development of IoT industry.

The integrated circuit industry of Wuxi New District has formed a complete industrial chain, taking the lead in China.

Wuxi (Taihu) International Science &Technology Park attracted many enterprises in the micro-nano industry.
