Railway Stations

There are four railway stations in Nanjing: Nanjing Railway Station, Nanjing West Railway Station, Nanjing South Railway Station, and Nanjing North Railway Station.


The Nanjing Lukou International Airport, located in Lukou town, Jiangning district, is about 36 kilometers from the downtown area. It now has more than 130 flight routes to over 60 Chinese cities and over 20 overseas cities.  


There are ten metro lines in Nanjing now – Metro Line 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, S1, S3, S7, S8, and S9 – with a total length of 378 kilometers.

Public Bus

Nanjing had launched 608 public bus routes by the end of 2016, with a daily passenger capacity of 2.6 million.

Long-distance Bus Stations

Nanjing has seven long-distance bus stations: East Bus Terminal, Zhongyangmen Bus Terminal, Hanfu Street Bus Terminal, Hanzhongmen Bus Terminal, and Xiaguan Bus Terminal, Zhongshan South Road Bus Terminal, and North.  


Nanjing Port is one of Asia's largest inland ports.
