2019 Shenyang Art Festival concludes

The 2019 Shenyang Art Festival concluded at Shengjing Grand Theatre in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Oct 30.

The festival, which opened on Sept 20, was hosted by Shenyang publicity department and the Shenyang culture, tourism, radio and television bureau.

During the festival, a total of 85 activities were held covering a number of different themes, and more than 100 performances and exhibitions, including dramas, operas, acrobatics, singing, dancing, classical concerts, and visual arts exhibitions were held, attracting more than 700,000 visitors, according to officials.

The event helps provide a platform for Shenyang residents and visitors to learn more about the city’s culture and arts, as well as improving Shenyang’s reputation as a center for the arts, officials said.
