China Resources and WISCO General Hospital

China Resources and WISCO General Hospital, set up in 1958, was jointly invested by China Resource and Wuhan Iron and Steel Group Corporation (WISCO) and gained its current name in December 2013.

The hospital has become a 3A-grade comprehensive hospital and offers high-quality medical services for patients.

It covers 47,000 square meters and an overall building area of 76,000 square meters. It has set up 51 clinical departments and 16 medical laboratories. The department of ultrasonic imaging is listed as a provincial key specialty, and 13 other departments are listed among municipal key specialties such as cardiovascular medicine, dermatology, endocrinology, hematopathology, urinary surgery, neurosurgery and geriatrics.

It also has a national chest pain center and a comprehensive stroke center. The annual patient number of outpatient departments has reached 900,000 while about 40,000 patients are discharged every year.

The hospital has a range of advanced medical facilities such as 3.0T MRI, 64 set high definition CT machine and a large angiography machine.
