‘Central Plains Cultural Stage’ shows start in Nanyang

An excellent drama, which was part of "Central Plains Cultural Stage" plan, was performed at Nanyang Wancheng Theater on August 16.
The puppet drama "Gourd Brothers" by the Henan Song and Dance Performing Arts Group drew a warm response from the audience.
This month, the "Central Plains Cultural Stage" is planning to invite the Henan Song and Dance Performing Arts Group, the Henan Peking Opera Art Center and the Nanyang Opera Art Center to perform at Wancheng Theater in Nanyang.
The repertoire is composed of selected plays that celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China in Henan province, and is expected to create an atmosphere that celebrates the birthday and rejuvenation of the motherland.
A total of 10 works including "Red Lantern", "Danshui extol", "Shajiabang", "Gourd Brothers", and "Alibaba and the Thieves" will be performed, with the ticket priced at five yuan ($0.77)
