Kunming Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Kunming Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), set up in 1956, is a 3A-grade TCM hospital offering medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention, rehabilitation and community medical services.

The hospital has three campuses–Dongfeng East Road, Guanshang and Chenggong–which cover 10.67 hectares with a building area of 165,000 square meters.

It has 23 clinical departments, 11 medical laboratories and 1,700 patient beds. A total of 34 departments are listed as national, provincial or municipal key clinical specialties.

The hospital has a range of advanced medical facilities, such as 1.5T MRI, doppler color ultrasound, automatic biochemical analyzer and molybdenum target.

It has 1,252 staff members, with 153 holding middle or senior titles and four enjoying special allowances from the State Council.
