Nuclear Industry 416 Hospital, also known as the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College, has a history of over 100 years. It is a 3A-grade comprehensive hospital offering medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention and healthcare in Southwest China.
The hospital covers 4.5 hectares and a building area of 83,647 square meters. It has about 1,500 patient beds. The annual patient number of the outpatient and emergency departments amounts to 680,000 and more than 10,000 surgical operations are conducted in the hospital every year.
The hospital employs more than 1,300 staff members while over 120 of them hold senior titles and seven enjoy the special government allowance from the State Council.
It has set up 27 clinical departments, 15 medical laboratories, 25 inpatient wards and 28 nursing units. The departments of nuclear medicine and dermatology are listed as provincial key clinical specialties while the departments of respiratory and rehabilitation are listed among municipal key clinical specialties.
The hospital has a range of advanced medical facilities, such as 1.5T MRI, ECT, Spect-CT, cobalt 60 radiotherapy machine, fully automatic biochemical analyzer, digital gastrointestinal machine, bone mineral density instrument and color ultrasonic doppler diagnostic instrument.
