Li Yundi Sept 22 Recital

What:

Li Yundi, a famous Chinese pianist, was propelled onto the international stage when he won first prize at the XIV Chopin International Piano Competition at the age of 18, becoming the youngest and first Chinese winner in the history of the renowned competition. Since then, he has been regarded as an international piano star, and also a leading exponent of Chopin's music.

On his regular recital tours, Li has performed in prestigious venues around the world including Carnegie Hall in New York, Royal Festival Hall in London Seoul Arts Centre and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.

In this year's Li Yundi "Sonata" China Tour 2019, Wuxi is included.
