Faku ceramics trade fair comes to a close

The 16th Shenyang Faku International Ceramics Trade Fair concluded at the Faku International Ceramics Convention and Exhibition Center in Faku, Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on June 30.

The three-day event was attended by more than 3,000 businesses from Italy, Russia, South Korea, Nigeria, and Southeast Asia.

More than 35,000 visitors and buyers took part in the event, in which exhibitions of architectural ceramics, ceramic machine parts, new materials, ceramic sanitary ware, and ceramic industry logistics and financial service products were held.

In addition to exhibitions, a ceramics industry development summit forum, a buyers’ conference, and a promotional meeting for new technology and techniques were also held.

Faku is renowned for its ceramics industry, as its products are not only sold around China but also in 36 other countries and regions such as the United States, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and a number of African countries.

The ceramics industrial park in the Faku Economic and Technological Development Zone is currently home to 305 companies, which form a complete industrial chain. Last year, ceramics produced in Faku generated more than $100 million in export revenue.
