Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, as four key cities in the Greater Bay Area, will be further improved based on their own advantages. They will serve as the driving forces for regional development.

Hong Kong

The status of being the international financial, shipping and trade center and international aviation hub will be consolidated and enhanced. The status of global offshore renminbi business hub, international assets management center and risk management center will be strengthened.

The industries of finance, business and trade, logistics, and professional services will be promoted for their high-end and high-value-added development. The innovative, scientific and technological development, as well as the emerging industry, will be given up most attention. The Asia Pacific international law and dispute resolution service center will be established.

All in all, Hong Kong will be built into a more competitive international metropolis.

Macao

The city will be built into an exchange and cooperation base with Chinese culture as main stream and multiple cultures coexist by developing high-level tourism and leisure industry, launching a business and trade cooperation service platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, and promoting moderate and diversified economic development.

Guangzhou

Taking full use of its leading position as a national key city and a comprehensive getaway, Gangzhou will be built into an international city with focus on the areas of business, trade and transport, as well as science, technology, education and culture.

Shenzhen
