Daishan county in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, recently released eight measures to boost the development of local small and micro enterprises.
These measures will help such companies with financing, project application, land cost reduction and administrative procedures.
Small and micro enterprises play an important role in the county's economic development. Statistics show that there were more than 2,700 such companies in the county as of 2018.
However, most of these companies experience difficulties when it comes to financing, labor and land use.
To help them address these problems, the county has launched a five-year plan spanning from 2018 to 2022 which focuses on building a series of small and micro enterprise parks to provide sound services for these companies.
"Plants here are already ready to start production, which saves us at least one year's worth of preparations," said a spokesman from a local auto part manufacturer based in an industrial park for small and micro enterprises in Dongsha town.
"The office rent here is 50 percent less than the market price and there will be tax reductions in the future," said a spokesman from another local company in the park.
