Sichuan Development Holding Co Ltd

Sichuan Development Holding Co Ltd, founded in January 2009, is a wholly State-owned enterprise funded by the Sichuan Provincial Government, with a registered capital of 80 billion yuan ($11.6 billion).

The enterprise is mainly engaged in investment and financing and assets managing and administering in the fields of transport, energy, mineral products, water-related affairs, tourism, agriculture, environmental protection, resource exploitation and healthcare.

It has 30 wholly owned enterprises, 18 holding companies, 14 shareholding enterprises, 17 fund partnership companies, and 13 fund management companies, of which six are listed.

By the end of 2018, the enterprise's total assets in consolidated statements were 1.03 trillion yuan, 7.22 times higher than at the end of 2008. Its net assets reached 299.2 billion yuan, 5.6 times higher than that of the end of 2008.

The operation revenue of the enterprise in 2018 was 196.9 billion yuan, 9.3 times higher than in 2008, while profits hit 4.02 billion yuan, 4.6 times higher than in 2008.

The enterprise aims to develop into a world-class operation. By 2020, it is expected that the newly increased controllable assets of the enterprise’s headquarters will reach 100 billion yuan, and the financial management assets will exceed 1 trillion yuan.
