Building starts on agricultural technology industrial park

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Faku.Guiao Big Data Agricultural Technology Industrial Park took place in Faku county, Shenyang, in Liaoning province, on June 10.
The industrial park has a total planned land area of 133 hectares and aims to promote agricultural modernization, industrialization, urbanization and ecologicalization – having a good ecological environment.
Total investment of the project will be 1 billion yuan ($144.6 million).
The new industrial park will feature intelligent glass greenhouses covering 50,000 square meters, thermal insulation greenhouses covering 150,000 sq m, group cultivation seedling bases, an agriculture data center, dining rooms and agricultural sightseeing scenic areas.
