Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

First established in 1955, Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a 3A-grade TCM hospital offering medical treatment, training, scientific research, disease prevention and health care.

The hospital consists of a TCM base and four campuses, namely Hankou campus, Hanyang campus, Taibei campus and Erqian campus. It has a total of 1,200 patient beds.

Currently the hospital has 22 key specialties at different levels. Departments of pharmaceutics of TCM and massage are listed as national key specialties and departments of cardiology, Scrofula disease and endocrinology are among key provincial TCM specialties.

The hospital is equipped with a batch of advanced medical facilities such as magnetic resonance imaging, large-scale CT, automatic biochemical analyzer and color ultrasound. It has also given full play to integrating modern medical techniques and TCM, setting up intensive care units, coronary care units, blood purification rooms and endoscopy center.
