BEIJING - Reform measures launched this month to improve traffic management-related services for the public have so far benefited over 3 million people.
According to the traffic management bureau of the Ministry of Public Security Sunday, these measures, including easier procedures for the public to take driving license tests, register for vehicle mortgages or transfer and make vehicle purchase tax payments, are part of the authority's efforts to delegate power and improve regulation and services.
Such measures have benefited over 3 million people nationwide, saving them over 100 million yuan ($14.4 million) in just two weeks since their launch on June 1, the bureau said.
Traffic management authorities at all levels are also working with finance and tax agencies to ensure the reforms are carried out in an orderly and effective manner, it added.
