Xi'an signs cooperation agreement with Kyrgyzstan

Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek Free Trade Zone on June 11 to jointly build a trade center and mineral trading center, as well as to establish offices and carry out regular exchange visits.

At the signing ceremony, the overseas warehouse of Xi'an Port Siying Technology Co was also unveiled by Kadyrov Dastan, deputy minister of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, and Li Mingyuan, mayor of Xi'an.

Established on July 29, 1995, the Bishkek Free Trade Zone is the area for the establishment and expansion of private enterprises in Kyrgyzstan. It has well-developed infrastructure, abundant labor resources, and a preferential tax system, attracting 291 investors from all over the world.

Zhang Yiming, deputy general manager of Shaanxi Siying Electronic Technology Co, said that the company plans to establish a modern production line of liquid crystal displays (LCD) screens in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone with an annual output of 300,000 units and with an estimated production value of around 300 million yuan ($43.38 million).

Li Mingyuan said that ITL Park will speed up the construction of overseas warehouses of displays, TVs, smartphones, and laser components, as well as promote the development of cross-border e-commerce business and the international trade industry in Xi'an.
