Short-haul air route connects Zhoushan and Deqing

A short-haul commuter air route between Zhoushan and Deqing county in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, recently opened, with the first commuter plane from Deqing arriving at Zhoushan's Putuoshan Airport on June 1. 

It took only 57 minutes for the plane, carrying six passengers, to land after taking off.

The plane is scheduled to run a round-trip every day between the two places. The flight time will be around 70 minutes, three hours less than with self-driving tours.

Co-operated by Huaxia General Aviation and Beidahuang General Aviation, the air route contributes to the goal of Zhejiang province in realizing one-hour air transport between cities.

The air route is currently in the trial run period.
