Heilongjiang Red Cross Sengong General Hospital, set up in 1972 and treating patients since 1976, is a provincial 3A-grade comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention and rehabilitation.

The hospital is located in Harbin's Xiangfang district, which enjoys well-developed transport links. It covers an area of 46,495 square meters and contains 430 patient beds. Currently the hospital employs 499 staff members.

The hospital has 24 clinical departments and 10 medical laboratories. Five specialties are listed as key clinical specialties, including the departments of urology, cardiology, emergency, stomatology and ophthalmology. 

The hospital has more than 100 pieces of advanced medical equipment, including a Siemens 1.5T MRI and GE 64-slice spiral CT, a DSA, a DR, a Siemens color flow doppler sonograph, a blood-gas analyzer, and an imported biochemical analyzer.
