40 tourist attractions to provide discount fare

A total of 40 tourist attractions in Wuxi will provide special offers for citizens from May 19 to 26 in response to China Tourism Day, which falls on May 19 every year.

All three 5A-level tourist attractions in Wuxi are offering great benefits. The Wuxi TV production base, including the Town of the Three Kingdoms and the Town of the Water Margin, will reduce prices by half to 75 yuan ($12). For the others, Lingshan Mountain Scenic Area and Turtle Head Isle Scenic Area, the discount will also be 50 percent, making the prices 105 yuan and 45 yuan respectively.

Citizens will be able to visit Helv Relics Museum for free, while Wuxi Zoo is promoting preferential sets of tickets – a 60 yuan ticket will include access to Wuxi Sea Park.

Wuxi citizens can enjoy preferential treatment when presenting an identification card, residence permit or student identity card at ticket offices.

As one of the tourism events, the opening ceremony of Wuxi Shangtian Town will be held on May 17-20, featuring circus shows, a food feast and an outdoor music festival. Wuxi Shangtian Town, located in Luoshe Town of Huishan district, provides beautiful green countryside scenes and creative cultural markets.
