Prospect of HR industry being discussed in Wuxi

The 2019 Modern Service Industry Human Resource Innovation Summit Forum was held in Wuxi on May 8. More than 60 international and domestic well-known human resource service agencies were invited, and nearly 500 representatives of modern service enterprises in the city participated in the event.

Vice Mayor Lu Zhijian attended the forum and delivered a speech where he described the state of the HR services industry in Wuxi. There are currently 435 operational HR service institutions in the cities, employing nearly 16,000 people, and bringing in 30 billion yuan ($4.43 billion) in industrial revenue. The content of services continues to expand and now includes senior personnel scouting services, E - HR, Internet + HR, HR cloud services, and HR outsourcing services.

Zhu Congming, deputy director of the provincial department of human resources and social security, also stressed that the rapid development of the modern service industry in Jiangsu province has provided impetus for the development of corresponding HR services. It is necessary to assist modern service enterprises in scientific allocation of HR, stimulate the potential of employees, and improve labor productivity while accelerating the transformation and development of HR service institutions.

During the event, eight renowned firms and four respected human resources institutions signed strategic cooperation agreements. Xu Xiaodong, deputy general manager of China International Intellectech Co., Ltd. (CIIC), Zhang Jinrong, ManpowerGroup's vice president for Greater China, and other guest speakers shared their thoughts on the prospect of HR industry.

A roundtable discussion was also held focusing on the innovation and future direction of HR management, ending the forum with a passionate exchange of ideas.
