An important part of the first Grand Canal Culture and Tourism Expo, the Grand Canal Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition was held in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province on May 4.

A total of 104 intangible cultural heritages from cities along the Grand Canal were exhibited, including wood-block painting, paper-cutting and embroidery.

To help visitors better understand the history and craft of the heritages, a group of voluntary guides from some cultural institutes in Yangzhou were arranged at different sectors of the exhibition.

Additionally, a series of Chinese folk art forms were staged during the exhibition, such as Kunqu Opera, Yangzhou ditty and Huangmei Opera.
