Public transport can sometimes not be very convenient in cities with numerous scenic spots. For tourists, the hop on/off bus is a good option.

The most popular one in the well-visited Jimei district in Xiamen is the red colored Lam Lam hop on/off bus, a very convenient way to see all the sights.

The red shuttle bus, which leaves every 20 minutes, sets off at 9 am from Longzhouchi and North Xiamen Station respectively, with the last bus leaving at 7 pm.

Why is the bus the best choice for tourists?

It connects many scenic spots in the district in about a one hour ride, including Jimei village, the Garden Expo Park, Tianmu Hot Spring, the Kah Kee Theater, and Old Courtyard.

Tickets for the bus are cheap, only costing 5 yuan ($0.785), and they can be bought in cash or by Alipay and WeChat. Additionally, the bus ticket can be used as a coupon for which tourists can enjoy discounts at all the scenic spots in the district.
