In addition to showing sauropod dinosaur bones to the audience, this exhibition allows them to see the body structure of these giants, revealing the relationship between the dinosaur's heart rate, breathing, metabolism, and reproduction with its huge body shape.

Introduced by the American Museum of Natural History, the exhibition draws on the results of paleontology research, revealing the amazing biological mysteries of a group of super large dinosaurs, the long-necked, long-tailed sauropods, which research infers they were thriving on earth for about 140 million years.

The highlight of the exhibition is a model of an 18-year-old female Mamenchisaurus, a sauropod dinosaur genus including several species, known for their remarkably long necks which made up half the total body length. The recreated model reflects the actual size and physical characteristics of the dinosaur. It is 60 feet long and 11 feet tall, and is about the size of a large trailer.

Apart from getting a close look at the giant model, audiences of all ages can participate in interactive exhibits and activities, such as an event encouraging viewers to use their hands to pump blood for a dinosaur to understand the pressure required to transport blood through the long neck of a sauropod dinosaur to its head.
