Cultural tourism fest improves Zhanjiang's maritime city image

In celebration of Labor Day and to boost the integrated development of its cultural, tourism, and sports industries, the city of Zhanjiang in Guangdong province will hold the 2019 Zhanjiang Bay Culture and Tourism Festival from April 30 to May 2.

The festival will be organized by the Zhanjiang culture, radio, television, tourism and sport Bureau. It will be mainly held at its main venue, Jinsha Bay, a popular downtown beach in Zhanjiang, with other activities taking place at several sub venues in scenic spots in Leizhou, Wuchuan, and Suixi.

The highlights at the main venue will consist of an opening ceremony, a concert, a tourism routes release event, a photograph exhibition on intangible cultural heritages, and a kite show. The sub venues will feature water sports and cultural events.
