Harbin starts new ferry season

Ships ferrying passengers between Qidao Street Station and Chuangchang Station in Harbin started operations at 9:58 am on April 25, five days later than the usual schedule compared with previous years.

A total of two ferries will serve the line, and the maximum capacity of a ship is 118 passengers. The ferries run from 6:30 am to 6 pm every day. The journey time for ships during peak commuting times is 30 minutes.

The opening of the ferry line marked the beginning of the new ferry season for the city.

Another ferry line linking Qiuzhan Station to Sun Island will open on April 27; and other related ferry lines will start operations during the May Day holiday.
