China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group is the only enterprise administrated by the central government that specializes in energy-saving and environmental protection. It has 563 subsidiaries, including 28 secondary subsidiaries, and five listed companies. Its business covers more than 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and has expanded to over 60 countries and regions. It has about 50,000 employees.
With years of development, the Group has turned from a policy-based investment company to an industrial group and formed a business layout featuring energy conservation, environmental protection, health and clean energy and eco-friendly solutions. It has also been developed into a flagship enterprise with the top strengths and largest scale in the country.
It now holds a leading position in various fields, such as energy conservation in industries and buildings, disposal of solid waste and water, treatment of flue gas and heavy metal, soil remediation, photovoltaic power generation and new materials.
